Local Harvest

“Local Harvest will be a user-friendly, online directory that helps Australians everywhere to increase their consumption of fresh, local and sustainably grown food. I encourage people to convert streets and parks to permaculture, and to develop intensive organic food production at home. Welcome

Welcome to the Stall Holders Website at Camden Produce Markets.

Our local market is becoming a thriving, diversified community, which can only benefit the wider community of the Camden area. Thanks to your support we have many of the stallholders returning and more interested. It is often commented (especially by new comers) how pleasant our customers are.

The Market

For those of you who do not know about us,the Market runs on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays between 7am and noon and is located at the Camden Town Farm, lower John Street and Exeter Street Camden. Our market coordinator is Linda Galea. You can find her contact number on the “contact” page.

Our market specialises in fresh local produce straight off the farm. Fruit, Vegetables, Meats, Cakes, Pastries, Fresh Pet Foods and Treats, Flowers, Olives, Dairy products and Cheeses, Mushrooms, Breads, Honey, Plants, Spices, Seafood, Chorizos, Soaps, Soy Candles, Jams and Chutneys, and much, much, more. Hot food, coffee and teas and cold drinks are also available at the market. Check out the Stallholder Directory for a more detailed list of stallholders.

The scenery is spectacular. It’s worth a visit to take in the view, enjoy the atmosphere, have morning tea (or breakfast), stock up on your healthy produce, while chatting with old and new friends.

The idea of this website is to give the stallholders the tools required to effectively communicate to YOU, our customers.Flowers

We also would like to hear from you. You can contribute: post recipes or comments, join discussions, talk to your stallholders, even pre-order if you wish. If you have any problems, use the “Contact Us” link. We will contact you as soon as possible.Visit us on facebook..Camden Produce Market. We will keep you up to date and would very much like to hear from you, see your photos, exchange opinions and information.

This site is being put together as a volunteer effort by the stall holders themselves.

We  hope to see you there soon.
Jim McGregor
